Claire, who has been with E4tech since May 2006, has primarily focused on the technical, economic and environmental aspects of bioenergy. She has significant experience of applying life cycle greenhouse gas assessment, innovation theory, techno-economic analysis and structured problem solving to inform policy making and investment decisions. The wide range of projects and clients she has dealt with has provided her significant experience in project, team and sub-contractor management, and allowed her to develop a network of key contacts in the renewable energy sector.
Prior work experience includes positions at Defra, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Mouchel. In 2012, Claire also took an eight month sabbatical to work for a Peruvian NGO on payment for ecosystem services projects. Claire holds a degree in Zoology from Cambridge (specialising in molecular and developmental biology) and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College (specialising in Energy Policy).
