Guy joined E4tech from Jaguar Land Rover where he had 5 years of product development, automotive engineering industry experience. His work has been focused on hybrid and electric products and primarily on system design. He had a lead role for the project management of the Battery Electric Vehicle braking system and a system lead design role for the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle hybrid powertrain system. Guy led the integration of the distributed hybrid controls system, technical resolution of issues during the launch of the company’s first PHEV product and roll-out of the hybrid architecture to future model years. He has experience in hardware and software design, stability control functional development including regenerative braking. Earlier in his career, he managed engineering to manufacture process improvements projects, advising from an internal consultancy function and has worked in marketing functions to develop technology communication through feature animations. During his time at university Guy had first-hand the Engineering practices of a formula 1 racing team and employed these to the UCL racing chassis design. He has also applied his materials science knowledge to design and manufacture snowboards in France.
Guy has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MEng), from University College London. Guy speaks English and conversational French and Spanish.
