Niccolò has a solid background in energy engineering and in-depth knowledge of the entire spectrum of energy sources.
Prior to joining E4tech, Niccolò undertook an internship in an energy service company providing energy efficiency measures to clients in industry and tertiary sector. He assisted the operation and maintenance of energy generation plants, analysing and optimising their performance. He also spent a research period at the Luxembourg XDEM Research Centre developing a computational model of an industrial scale biomass boiler to improve its combustion efficiency.
Niccolò holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London, where he investigated the impact that technology learning has on the uptake of Carbon Capture and Storage technology. He also holds the equivalent of an MSc with distinction and a first-class BSc in Energy Engineering from the University of Pisa. He speaks English, Italian and some French.
