Christopher brings international experience in life cycle assessments, corporate environmental reporting frameworks and energy transition strategies.
Christopher Govier brings international experience in energy transition projects across the EU, Middle East and North America. He has conducted life cycle assessments on infrastructure projects including a metro expansion in the UAE and an LNG plant in Oman. Advising across industries, he understands the global energy landscape, life cycle assessment, corporate reporting frameworks, climate feedbacks and risk modelling. Prior to E4tech, Christopher founded his own climate change and energy consultancy, where he reduced client’s emissions by over 15,000 tCO2e, working with start-ups that have high impact potential. He was the former Head of Growth at sustainability information firm IMPACTR ApS, and has interests in Islamic finance and its synergy with green finance as well as the link between natural catastrophes and infrastructure insurance. He holds an MSc in Climate Change from Copenhagen University where he wrote his thesis in collaboration with DTU Management Engineering. He is a graduate member of IEMA, a Climate-KIC Alumni and a men’s mental health ambassador.
