E4tech hosting Sugar Platform workshops in Landshut-Munich and Reims

E4tech is currently leading the study “From the Sugar Platform to Biofuels & Biochemicals” which aims to provide the European Commission with an evidence base on the production of biochemicals and biofuels from sugars. The study, which is conducted in partnership with RE-CORD and Wageningen UR, is also assessing development status, barriers, EU competitiveness, case study value propositions, before identifying key R&D and industry development needs.
We are conducting two interactive workshops to consult stakeholders and industry experts on our findings to date, and discuss the opportunities associated with different pathway options and how best these could be supported. These workshops will take place on 23 September 2014 (18:00-19:00) at the 4th International Conference on Lignocellulosic Ethanol, in Landshut-Munich, and on 2 October 2014 (09:00-13:00) at the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Biobased Economy in Reims.
