On 27th March, UK Government Ministers announced the results of the Hydrogen Refuelling Stations infrastructure grant scheme. Seven projects have been given the green light, for a total of 12 permanent and mobile stations to be operational before the end of 2016. E4tech has been working closely with Ricardo-AEA to support this competition since its announcement early in 2015, and will continue to be a part of the monitoring team. E4tech Director David Hart, the Technical Lead for the project, said “this announcement confirms the UK Government’s commitment to make the UK an attractive location for the early roll-out of FCEVs, and this scheme will lay the foundations for an eventual network covering the whole of the UK.”
More information on the scheme can be found on Ricardo-AEA’s website.
